Chris A. Williams died peacefully at his home Tuesday, August 24, 2010, surrounded by family: Jeff Copeland, Diane and Dick Hall.  Other family members: Jane and Ron Newton, Jeremy and Sara Newton and Camden, Alyson and Josh Voelkerding and Wyatt, and Steve, Lana and Greg Hall.
William was born in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on March 7, 1970.  He graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1988 and graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas in 1992.  He was employed by Eastern Kansas Health Care System for 22 years in Topeka and Leavenworth (VA Hospital) in Behavioral Health and Surgery.  He was a member of the Sertoma Club of Leavenworth County and a deacon at the First Christian Church in Leavenworth.
Visitation will be on Friday, August 27, 2010, from 9:00am to 10:00am. at First Christian Church, 130 North 6th Street, Leavenworth, Kansas.  Services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 10 am. at First Christian Church in Leavenworth, Kansas.
Memorial contributions can be made to Midwest Ear Institute, 4200 Pennsylvania, Suite 100, Kansas City, Missouri 64111 or First Christian Church 130 N. 6th Street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048 or sent to Davis Funeral Chapel at 531 Shawnee Street, Leavenworth, Kansas 66048.
