To the editor:

It comes as no surprise that a Kansas congressional candidate would attempt to raise campaign money by holding a raffle for a gun. I could understand a raffle for a shotgun, or even a hunting rifle, but an assault rifle? The AR-15 was designed specifically to kill people, and as we have seen time and again in our schools, colleges, concerts, churches, movie theaters and malls, it does that job with near perfection. Thank you for the article. It helped me narrow my list of voting possibilities by one. This is not a Second Amendment issue, it is a judgment issue. I have no confidence in Mr. Tyler Tannahill’s judgment.
