The Immaculata girls recently took sixth place out of 30 teams at the Royal Valley powerlifting meet.
The Lady Raiders also set two new meet records along the way. Olivia Theus and Grace Parker each set new squat marks at 205 pounds.
Parker, a freshman, finished first overall in her weight class. Theus finished first in squats and second overall in her weight class while also earning the best lightweight lifter award.
Megan Abbott, a junior, finished third in squats, as did Madi Schmucker. Schmucker also got second place in bench press.
Ellie Wolk finished fourth overall in her weight class and Mary Thorne was third.
On the boys side, Luke Haley set a new meet mark in squats at 450 pounds. Haley ended up third overall in his division and Raphael Tate also finished third.
It was a very successful day for the Imac powerlifters, as the team posted eight personal bests to go along with the sixth-place team finish for the girls.
