Deputies are investigating a fight that involved several people Wednesday night in Linwood, according to a report from the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday at Second and Bowen streets in Linwood.
Two groups made up of adults and juveniles had been involved in an argument about people owing money. The argument turned physical and several people were battered, according to the report.
A few people suffered bumps and bruises, but no serious injuries were reported. No one requested medical treatment at the scene, according to the report.
Several people reported seeing someone with a shotgun, but officers located no gun.
Undersheriff Ron Cranor said no arrests were made. A report will be sent to the Leavenworth County Attorney’s Office for review.
