The Lansing Lions defeated Basehor-Linwood 5-0 on Thursday’s senior night. Lansing led 4-0 at the break and added another goal in the second half. “The first half we took control from the start by moving the ball around creating operations that allowed us to score quickly and often,” said head coach Billy Dillon. “We started the second half with another by Cole Hoing to finish the scoring. We moved players around and worked others in the rest of the night.” Tanner Sass and Cole Hoing had two goals, while Josh Sabalu had one. The Lions play at Gardner-Edgerton at 6 p.m. Monday.
