The Leavenworth Times is excited to unveil a new initiative that puts the spotlight on our community’s diverse voices and ideas. The Community Conversation Initiative is set to change the way we connect, discuss and collaborate with our community in a new and meaningful way.
In our commitment to serve the community, CherryRoad (the parent company of the Leavenworth Times) will introduce an innovative series of conversations with key figures from local government, county government, law enforcement, business and education. This initiative aims to ask the same five questions to each of those community leaders to improve the depth of our understanding of what the community needs most from us.
As we launch this initiative, we believe that meaningful discussions are the cornerstone of a thriving community. From pressing challenges to innovative solutions, we designed our “5 Questions/5 Answers” series to foster a deeper understanding of our community’s dynamics, bringing to light the stories, initiatives and goals that matter most to you.
The Community Conversation Initiative isn’t just about asking questions; it’s about listening to you, whether you read our newspaper or not. We invite you to be a part of this endeavor by watching our interviews and then taking our online survey so you can share your perspectives and let us hear your voice.
Our team has put together a set of questions, addressing everything from current challenges to future aspirations. The Leavenworth Times will ask these questions to community leaders across various sectors, so we can look at these issues from different perspectives.
Stay tuned as we kick off the “5 Questions, 5 Answers” series. Beginning the week of Jan. 22, those interviews will appear weekly on the Leavenworth Times website. To find the interviews, simply look for our “Conversations” category on the front page of our website.
The Leavenworth Times believes that a vibrant community starts with open conversations. Join us on this journey as we amplify local voices, embrace diverse perspectives and build a stronger, more connected community together.
