And students from Lansing High School will be performing the high school edition of “Heathers the Musical.”

Leavenworth High School students had two performances of “Tarzan the Stage Musical” last week. They will wrap up the show with performances at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Leavenworth High School, 2012 10th Ave.

Admission is $6 per adult and $4 per student.

Lansing High School students will have their opening night of “Heathers the Musical” at 7 p.m. today at the high school, 1412 147th St.

Tickets are $10 per adult or $5 for each student or senior. Tickets can be reserved by calling the high school at 913-727-3357. Tickets also can be purchased at the door.

The Lansing students will have two more performances of “Heathers the Musical” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Lansing Superintendent Darrel Stufflebeam said the cast of the musical performed the show’s finale Monday for the Lansing Board of Education.

“It was a standing ovation and they brought down the house,” Stufflebeam said.
