The Bow Wow Film Festival Tour, based in Boulder, Colorado, is a traveling film festival that “celebrates, educates and inspires all things dog through the art of short film,” according to a press release.

The organization collaborates with animal welfare organizations, humane societies and service dog organizations across the country, raising money and awareness for the hosting organizations, which collect 100 percent of the ticket sales.

In the first two years of the festival, the organization has co-hosted more than 70 shows and raised more than $125,000 for animal welfare groups, according to a press release.

“We are so excited about the 2017-18 Tour,” said Susan Kelley in a press release. She is the founder and director of the festival.

“Many of our organizations are now hosting their third event. You will laugh and maybe even tear up a bit but you can’t help but have a wonderful time at a Bow Wow.”
