A Basehor man, who had been reported missing, was found dead over the weekend, according to an official with the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office.

A Basehor man, who had been reported missing, was found dead over the weekend, according to an official with the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office.

The body of Jordan Kenne, 27, was found around 5 p.m. Saturday. He had last been seen on Friday, according to Leavenworth County Undersheriff Jim Sherley.

An autopsy was conducted Monday. But Sherley said Monday afternoon that he had not yet heard about the results.

The Basehor Police Department reported that Kenne was missing Saturday morning on the department’s Facebook page.

According to information shared on Facebook, Kenne had last been seen around 5 p.m. Friday as he left his home to go for a run.

Sherley said Kenne’s body was found in a location off of 166th Street south of U.S. 24-40.
