A woman was taken to the hospital after her sport utility vehicle overturned following a collision on Eisenhower Road, a police spokesman said.

The crash was reported at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Eisenhower Road.

Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department, said a 61-year-old Easton woman was driving a Ford Escape west on Eisenhower Road. The vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Malibu that entered Eisenhower Road from a business parking lot. The Malibu was driven by a 70-year-old Lansing man.

The Escape rolled onto its roof. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital to be checked out, Nicodemus said.
