Despite a couple of close races in Lansing, no recounts have been requested following the Nov. 5 election, according to the county clerk.

The Board of County Canvassers certified the Leavenworth County results of the election on Tuesday. But people had until Wednesday to request a recount, County Clerk Janet Klasinski said.

A race for a Ward 2 seat of the Lansing City Council was decided by a three-vote margin. Challenger Marcus Majure narrowly defeated incumbent Andi Pawlowski.

And in a race for a Ward 3 seat of the Lansing City Council, incumbent Jesse Garvey defeated challenger Betty Klinedinst by a seven-vote margin.
