A man allegedly fired shots at a vehicle following an altercation at a Leavenworth residence, a police spokesman said.

No arrests have been made. But police have identified a suspect, according to Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department.

The incident was reported Monday evening in the 700 block of Charles Street.

“No one was in the car,” Nicodemus said. “No one was hurt.”

Nicodemus said the altercation took place inside the residence. Before the suspect left the scene, he allegedly fired three to four shots from a handgun at another man’s 1997 GMC Yukon.

The suspect left before police officers arrived on the scene.

Nicodemus would not comment on what may have started the altercation.
