Jack Lee Rogers, 77, Easton, Kansas, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at his home.

Jack Lee Rogers, 77, Easton, Kansas, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018, at his home. He was born July 15, 1941, the son of Marlen and Pearl (Stevens) Rogers.
Jack served in the United States Navy for three years active duty and three years reserve duty. He worked for the Leavenworth County Courthouse for 31 years as the Maintenance Superintendent before retiring Dec. 2, 2005.
On Sept. 15, 1962, Jack married Sandra Lee Martin. After 42 years of marriage, Sandra preceded him in death in 2004. From this union survives two children, Brenda Lee (Carl) Rogers Grape and Kevin (Stephany) Lee Rogers; two granddaughters, Amanda Lee (Matt) Loflin and Christina Lee Grape; two grandsons, Griffin Marley Rogers and Kyle Lee Grape; four great-grandchildren, Connor Lee (Paloma) Schuler, Camron Rich, and Tessa Grape and Marcus Mack.
Jack married Donna (Crook) in February 2005, she survives at the home. He is also survived by his step-children, Deborah (Dirk Weatherford) Crook McGhee and Dennis (Lisa) Crook; three grandchildren, Rebecca Trechter, Connor Dale Crook and Alyssa Crook; and a great-granddaughter, Hannah Trechter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sandra; a granddaughter, Bethany McGhee, an infant grandson, Daniel Trechter, Jr.
Jack was active in caring for others. He drove for Sister Vickie and Community of Hope for almost five years. He was active in Ducks Unlimited and a member in Kansas and Nebraska.
He had a great love for his faith, he helped with all areas of service and was always there to help his wife take care of inside duties at his church.
Visitation beginning with the rosary will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Casimir Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Christ Peace House or the Masses at St. Lawrence Church.
