Georgina “Gean” C. Clark, 75, Leavenworth, died Wednesday May 8, 2019 from prolonged illness.
Born on Feb. 1, 1944 to George and Audrey (Sparks) Hensley. Gean was preceded in death by her parents, brother, William Campbell, sister, Juanita (Hensley) Haddock and life partner, Henry J. Lohman.
She was fortunate to have had love in her life and is survived by her siblings, Shirley Hensley and George (Gene) Hensley, Leavenworth, Kenneth Hensley, Wisconsin, four children; Richard Bartok and Georgina (Gina) Jones, Leavenworth, George (Tony) Bartok, Plano, Texas and Sarah Rodgers, Shawnee, Kansas, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Gean graduated from Park University and worked for Sears Repair Center Kansas City for 22 years. Gean crocheted and donated afghans to many charities.
A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Belden-Larkin Funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials in her name may be directed to Leavenworth Council on Aging or Alliance Against Family Violence.
