Sherri Cole Parkison, 59, passed away July 16, 2019 in her home.

 She was born April 7, 1960 in the Panama Canal Zone to Mary and Dennis Cole. Sherri graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1978. Throughout her career she worked at Armed Forces Insurance, the nursing home community and finished her career at Reilly and Sons Insurance where she made lifelong friendships. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband Scott Parkison, daughters Laura (Bryan) Taylor, Ashley Parkison, Madison Parkison, and son Mitchell Parkison, her six grandchildren Alex Phibbs, Aden Kellogg, Nevaeh and Neenah Perrin, Reagan and Ryan Parkison,  two sisters Denise (Richard) Chase and Darlene (Jim) McCluskey and one brother Jim (Vivian) Cole and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

 She was known for her kindness and silliness. She was also a “Delta Dawn” Karaoke Queen, and a “Mony Mony” dancer. Sherri was generous, loving and never knew a stranger. The family is extremely grateful for all of the support and kindness received throughout her illness from Sherri’s dear friends and colleagues.

 Visitation will be held at R. L. Leintz Funeral Home on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 6-8 p.m., and services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at fightcf.cff.org or LAWS in Sherri’s name.
