Lillian Anderson, 84, Lansing, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at St. John's Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

Lillian Anderson, 84, Lansing, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at St. John’s Hospital, after a long battle with cancer. She was born April 16, 1935, in Cheneyville, Louisiana, the daughter of Paul and Daisy (Wilson) Green.
She was a member of the Kehilath Israel Synagogue in Overland Park, Kansas.
Lillian is survived by her husband, William Anderson; a daughter, Melissa Neal; two sons, William Anderson Jr. and Derrick Muhammed; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Joyce Johnson, Patricia Halliburton, Pansey Dempsey, Sharon Fields and June Green; a brother, Clarence Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, Charles, Jules, Lester, Matthew, Johnny, Claude and Ronnie; and two sisters, Pauline and Charlene.
Lillian retired from the V.A. after 25 years of service. She was also a member of the red hat club.
A visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2019, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Kehilath Israel Synagogue, 10501 Conser, Overland Park, KS, 66212.
