Barton “Bart” Carnoali, 58, Leavenworth, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. Bart was the son of Eddie and Linda Carnoali. He was born Feb. 19, 1961 at St. John’s Hospital. He graduated from Immaculata High School in 1979. Bart was active in sports throughout high school, as a member of the basketball, football, and golf teams. He also played in the Geiger American Legion Baseball League and TYO Football. Bart attended Pittsburg State University receiving his BS in Nursing. After college Bart entered the Air Force, served for 10 years, four of those in the Philippines and serving in Desert Storm. He received his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Webster’s University and a Master’s Certification in Project Management from Villanova University. Bart began his career in healthcare during high school as an aide at St. John’s Hospital and continued to work during college. He later returned to St. John’s and Providence where he worked in hospital administration. In 2009 he moved with his wife and daughters to Colorado where he continued his work in healthcare administration at Vail Valley Hospital. Bart touched the lives of many with his kind and gentle nature as a nurse, always bringing a smile to his patients and co-workers with his sense of humor.
Bart married Diane Cade on Aug. 28, 1993, she survives at their home in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Bart is also survived by his son, Nicholas (Stephanie), Bonner Springs, daughters, Chelsea and Sophie, Glenwood Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren: Rudy, Myla, Eliza, Alonnah, Kayden, and Parker. He is also survived by his sister, Sonia (Rick), and brothers, Jeff (Mindy), Eddie (Jean).
Bart was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Leo Carnoali.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019 at Davis Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
