Adam Justin Wheeler, died March 1, 2020, killed while he was taking a walk. Adam was born to Mark E. and Pamela Davis Wheeler, Oct. 12, 1975 in Winchester, Kansas. Adam attended school and grew up in Leavenworth. He worked for his father at Wheeler Lowe Auto Repair for years until his Dad’s retirement in 2002. He worked at the Pizza Hut and several other jobs and was working at Burger King at the time of his death.
In 2004 he met Sarah Elaine Goff, they married May 25, 2005. He always said he fell in love with her for her laughter and sense of humor, she was the love of his life. From this union two children were born, Vincent in 2005 and Carly in 2011. He loved his Kansas City Chiefs football team.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah, children, Vincent and Carly, and parents, Mark and Peggy, sisters, Wendy (Matt) Valencia, Jamie (Roger) Williams, brother, John Tull, Kelso, Washington, Aunt Carol (Cliff) Bond, Topeka, Aunt Karen (Eugene) Perrin, Leavenworth, Aunt Patricia (Oscar) Glies, Atchison, Aunt Elizabeth Wilis, Lawrence, Aunt Carrie (Andy) Taylor, Aunt Karen Carroll, Leavenworth, his father and mother in law, Dan and Tammy Goff, brother-in-laws, Chris (Christina) Lough, Josh (Amy) Goff and sister-in-law, Maggie (Alan) Biesert and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Wheeler, his grandparents, Merlin and Juanita Wheeler, who helped raise him and Tom and Virginia Davis, an older brother, Mark E. Wheeler, Jr., Uncle Mark Godding, Uncle Tommie Dean Davis.
Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Chapel Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Muncie Cemetery.
