On Monday, May 25, 2020, former longtime resident of Leavenworth, Kenneth David Clevenger passed away at the age of 76 at his home in Salem, Virginia.

Ken was born June 20,1943, in Leavenworth, Kansas to Charles and Margaret Clevenger. He graduated from Immaculata High School in 1961 and obtained a baccalaureate degree from the University of Kansas in 1970. Ken had an accomplished and long-term career at Armed Forces Insurance as Director of Marketing.

Ken is survived by his wife, Donna Clevenger, daughter, Kelly Clevenger, Shawnee, Kansas, granddaughter, Delaney Branton, Overland Park, Kansas, grandson, Kyle Branton, Jacksonville, Florida, brother, Richard Clevenger (Teddy), Phoenix, Arizona, and extended family and friends.

Ken was known to accomplish anything he set his mind to and had as many talents, interests, and hobbies as humanly possible. Ken was gifted at lending a hand to those in need and was known as a kind and inspirational leader, motivator, volunteer, and friend who will be missed.

At Ken’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The love that Ken shared with family and friends will carry on forever.
