Kimberly Jewel (Tincher) Richmond

Leavenworth - Kimberly Jewel (Tincher) Richmond died June 28 in Leavenworth.

She was born September 15, 1961, in Beckly, WV, daughter of Roy Abraham and Lily Margaret (Goodwin) Tincher. On May 7 1986, she married Ronald Lee Richmond in Covington VA.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Spain, son in law Aaron Spain, and their three children Baylee, Izzabela-Nicole, and Rowan Spain; her "adopted" Daughter Allison O'neal, son in law Terry O'neal and their 5 children; sisters Anita Turlington, Hampton Beach, VA; Becky Tincher, Rainelle WV; Gale Cole, Nimitz, WV, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002.

Kim joined the United States Army Reserve in 1987. Where she was active in Desert Storm/ Desert Sheild, and received several awards during her service. She moved to Leavenworth in 1990.

She worked for Heatron Inc for 12 years. She was a custodian at Lansing School District and a provider at Care Giving Because We Care for 4 years while working at the school district.

Her hobbies included photography, videography, paint by number, watching the birds out her window, and most of all playing with her grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at the VA National Cemetery.
