Elizabeth (Goetz) Hickerson

Bedford - Elizabeth Hickerson of Bedford IN passed away from complications of Covid on September 5, 2021. She was born in December 1943, the 5th of six children born to Hans and Mary Ann Goetz in Leavenworth. She graduated from Immaculata High School, Class of 1961, and in August 1966 married Charles Douglas Hickerson at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leavenworth. They moved to Bedford in 1969.

She was predeceased in Indiana by her husband Doug in 1988 and her grandson Chris II in 2014; and in Leavenworth by her parents, a sister Anna Marie Heintzelman, and a brother George Goetz.

Surviving Elizabeth in Indiana are her two daughters: Cheri Mannix and husband Christopher, Kelly Spivey, and her beloved granddaughter Kenna Spivey. Three siblings survive her in Leavenworth – Al Goetz, John Goetz and Mary Angello. Rest in Peace our dear sister!!
