Lansing - Larry Douglas Moore, 59, of Lansing, Kansas passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born to Bill and Mary (Pogue) Moore on March 13, 1962 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Larry graduated high school from Lansing, Kansas in 1982.

He was employed at the Fort Leavenworth Post Exchange for over 30 years. Larry loved caring for others, feeding the birds and listening to ole time Gospel and 50's music. Larry is survived by three brothers, Tim and Sandy, of Independence, KS, Bill Moore, of Lansing, Mike Moore of Lansing, nephew, Adam and Meg Moore of Silver Springs, NY, and niece Rachel and Dustin Lampe, of Independence, KS, two great nephews and two great nieces. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and one great niece.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 30,2021 at Davis Funeral Chapel from 5 to 7 P.M. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Davis Funeral Chapel at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in Neodesha Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
