Joshua Samuel Reed passed away on Feb. 23, 2021, in Leavenworth, Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia, at the home, two sons, Owen and Joshua Reed Jr., one daughter, Ivery, and one step-daughter, Sadie, of the home.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Goffman, Leavenworth. He is survived by his father and mother, Robert Reed and Kim, Leavenworth, and four sisters, Kayla Goffman, Lansing, Kansas, Amber Dalton, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Nicole Proo and Emily Reed, Leavenworth, Kansas, one brother, Eric Reed (Clinton), Bonner Springs, Kansas, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Reed, Leavenworth, Kansas, and Joyce Goffman, Des Moines, Iowa, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins and nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his infant son, 4-month-old Logan Reed, and grandfather, Howard Goffman. 

Joshua had served in the United States Marines and was one hell of a mechanic. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021, at Davis Funeral Chapel from 4-6 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. at Davis Funeral Chapel.
