The Leavenworth Pioneers and Lansing Lions bowling teams returned to the lanes on Monday at Gage Center in a quad with Turner and Shawnee Heights.
In the boys’ meet, Shawnee Heights won with a total score of 2,418. Leavenworth was second with 2,349. Turner scored 2,141 and Lansing had 2,137.
William Ayers led the Pioneers with a high series of 611. Nathaniel Rolon scored 580, Nick Hawley scored 571, Ty Richards had 538, Riley Frederickson scored 486 and Tristan Smith had 484.
Lansing was led by Hayden Hurley with 566. Garrett Carl scored 513, Cody Vander Staay had 512, Kender Coleman scored 478, Dakota Sill had 450 and Wes Miros had 419.
Ayers and Rolon both made the top individual bowler lists with their high series. Ayers had the third-highest and Rolon was fifth.
Shawnee Heights took the girls’ quad as well 2,134. Lansing was second with 2,019, Turner had 1,697 and Leavenworth scored 1,662.
Leavenworth was led by Margaret Collins with 416. Reanna Lucas scored 410, Clare Langfoss had 400, Brooke Collins scored 394 and Chloe Herring had 387.
Lansing was led by Kyah Surritte with 565. Cynthia Phillips had 535, Paige Sorensen scored 467, Jenna Hagan scored 444 and Aubree Dutton had 383.
Surritte was the top individual bowler and Phillips had the fifth-highest score.
Leavenworth and Lansing will both return to action on Thursday.
Leavenworth traveled to Mission Bowl in Olathe and Lansing will head to Westridge Lanes.
Both meets are scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
