Last Wednesday saw the third week of the adult mens’ basketball recreation league.

Anytime Fitness #2 defeated Leavenworth Legends 76-56. Dom Davie and Jaret Hansen led the winning team with 17 points. Layne Shirley scored 13. The LV Legends were led by Fredrick Patterson with 19 points. Karlos Campbell and Carl Roberson each scored 12 and Edward Reed had 11. Anytime Fitness #2 improved to 2-0 and Leavenworth Legends fell to 0-2.

In the second game of the night, Buckets defeated Kansas Elite 62-54. 

Duke Ezeamii led the Buckets with 18 points. Torran Dowdy scored 14 and Mark McGrory had 13. Kansas Elite was led by Noah Woods’ 24 points. Jeremie Seymore scored 15 and Curtis Brown had 11. Buckets improved to 2-0 and Kansas Elite fell to 0-2.

The final game of the night saw Zeck Ford improve to 2-1 on the season in their 90-69 win over Skyhookers to drop the Skyhookers to 0-2. Nino Williams led Zeck Ford with 21 points. Cam Decker had 19, Sage Herrera scored 15 and Dayton Meek had 14. 

Adam Patterson led the Skyhookers with 19. Trent Peter scored 17, Ellison Edmonds had 13 and Curley Tyler scored 11. 

Williams from Zeck Ford is the league scoring leader through three weeks with 78 points. Hanson from Anytime Fitness #2 is the leader in 3-pointers with 10. 

Action returns at the Riverfront Community Center Wednesday. The Skyhookers and Buckets will play at 6:30 p.m. Kansas Elite and Anytime Fitness #2 will follow at 7:30 p.m. and Anytime Fitness #1 will take on Leavenworth Legends at 8:30 p.m.
