Wednesday night saw the fourth week of the adult mens’ basketball recreation league. Buckets defeated Anytime Fitness #2 92-65. Buckers improved to 4-0 and are the last undefeated team. Anytime Fitness #2 fell to 2-1.
Duke Ezeamii led Buckets with 25 points, Brad Heim scored 19, Brandon Heim had 18, Torran Dowdy scored 17 and Kasey Johnston had 13. Anytime Fitness #2 was led by Tom Eismann with 18 points. Dom Davie scored 14 and Cody Mohan had 12.
In the second game of the night, Zeck Ford defeated M&M Specialty Services 76-63. Zeck Ford is now 3-1 on the year. M&M Specialty Services fell to 0-3.
Keiron Sauer led Zeck Ford with 22 points. Payton Meek had 19, Kyle Chmidling scored 14 and Sage Herrera had 10. Kenneth Banks led M&M Speciality Services with 16 points. Josh Robinson had 12 and Konner McQuillan scored 11.
The final game of the night saw Kansas Elite defeat Anytime Fitness #1 90-69. Kansas Elite improved to 1-2. Anytime Fitness #1 fell to 2-1.
Jeremie Seymour led Kansas Elite with 31 points. Noah Woods scored 21 and Curtis Brown had 11. Matt Warner led Anytime Fitness #1 with 21 points and Kyle Bluestein scored 11.
Nino Williams from Zeck Ford remains the scoring leader with 78 points. Noah Woods from Kansas Elite is the leader in 3-pointers with 12.
Action resumes on Wednesday at the Riverfront Community Center. A 3-point shootout will take place at 6:30 p.m. Leavenworth Legends vs. Zeck Ford will follow at 7:30 p.m. Anytime Fitness #1 and Buckets will close out the night at 8:30 p.m.
