Wednesday night was the fifth week of the adult men’s basketball recreation league in Leavenworth. 

Zeck Ford defeated Leavenworth Legends in the first game 84-59. Zeck Ford improved to 4-1 and Leavenworth Legends fell to 0-3.

Nino Williams led Zeck Ford with 28 points. Izaiah Grice scored 24 and Cam Decker and Kerion Sauer each scored 10. Da’Jaun Sweet led Leavenworth Legends with 26 points. Carl Robrson had 15 and John Suter scored 11. 

Anytime Fitness #1 defeated Buckets in the second game of the night 87-85. Anytime Fitness #1 improved to 3-1 and Buckets suffered the first loss of the season to fall to 4-1. Matt Warner led Anytime Fitness #1 with 30 points. L.T. Lee scored 23, Jasper Sanders had 16 and Braden Wilson scored 15. Torren Dowdy led Buckets with 27 points. Brad Heim scored 19 while Duke Ezeamii and Marc McGrory each scored 15.

Williams of Zeck Ford remains the scoring leader with 106 points. Heim is the leader in 3-pointers with 16. 

Action continues next Wednesday at the Riverfront Community Center. Skyhookers will take on Leavenworth Legends at 6:30 p.m. The second game will have Kansas Elite vs. M&M Specialty Services at 7:30 p.m. Zeck Ford and Anytime Fitness #2 will close out the night at 8:30 p.m.
