First City Museum has added a Reading Nook for public use. It is filled with children's books, out of publication Leavenworth history and memoirs and even scrapbooks. It is a free service provided by the Leavenworth Historical Museums Association. The museum is open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, and by appointment.
