Suspect flees on stolen electric scooter
A Leavenworth man who allegedly fled from an officer on a stolen electric scooter was found to be in possession of suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine and other drugs, a police official said.

The Leavenworth Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution recently hosted a ceremony honoring Revolutionary War veteran George Lemley and his descendant, Robert John Arter, by installing a memorial marker at his grave in Lansing. The mausoleum niche was marked with a distinctive bronze marker which depicts a Continental soldier with his musket. Submitted
