Lowell Hudson, Dothan, Ala., was born to Vera and Rollie Hudson. He retired as a Captain from the Bureau of Prisons and later went on to be the first Warden of the first private prison in the State of Georgia. He loved to have company and cook wonderful meals. Food was a way he showed love to friends and family.
Lowell was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Hudson and three sisters, Sheila Beaman, Agnes Scharer and Maureen Fox. He is survived by a brother Raymond Hudson of Loveland, Colo., a daughter, Cindy (Tom) White of Leavenworth, Kan., a son, Marc Hudson (Kristin) of Hudson, Fla. and two granddaughters, Carly Pietsch of Bothell, Wash. and Abigail Hudson of Hudson, Fla. Lowell is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and two very close friends, John and Rita Paulk of Dothan.
A mass will be said in Dad’s memory Saturday, July 16 at Immaculate Conception Church at 5:30 p.m.
