Judy Ann Lander – Born April 10, 1941, in Leavenworth, Kan. to Woodrow and Emma Logan.

Passed away July 28, 2022 at Homestead Memory Care in Olathe.

Judy graduated Leavenworth High School in 1959, attending hairdressing school in Mission, Kan. before marrying Jon Alden Lander in January 1963. She worked in Emporia and at her home salon before working at Johnson Co. Water District #1 for several decades until her retirement in 2004. She had a soft spot for animals and was always rescuing stray dogs. She survived breast cancer. Judy and Jon traveled extensively in their later years before settling down to relax on the porch and watch hummingbirds. She is survived by her husband, son Jonathan and daughter Julie, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She loved her family very much. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 3 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lansing.
