Kan.sas died July 13, 2022, at his residence. Memorial services will be 1 p.m., August 13, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in McLouth, Kan. with Rev. Scott Berry officiating. Burial will take place at Nortonville Cemetery in Nortonville, Kan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the National Fibromyalgia Association and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer- Stanton & O’Trimble Funeral Home. He worked at the VA hospital in Leavenworth as a boiler plant operator. He married Luetta Keirns on November 6, 1997. Charles trained horses and was a member of the Platte Co. Saddle Club and the Leavenworth

Saddle Club. Charles is survived by his wife, Luetta Giese, a daughter Michelle Elaine Hammack; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one on the way, and sister Virginia (Ginger) Duffin. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Mark Raymond Giese.
