Rose Marie May, 93, of Leavenworth died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living. She was born November 22, 1928, in Leavenworth to Frank Sr. and Anna (Biczak) Jarowitz. On June 27, 1953, Rose married James Andrew May. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ray and Frank Jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Williford and Mrs. Virginia Inkman.

Rose worked many years for the Kramer Company in Leavenworth and ended her working days at Ft. Leavenworth. She was a cherished aunt survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews; and special caregivers, David Williford and Gale Jarowitz. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
