Daniel Frederick Pellman, 85, of Leavenworth passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the Select Specialty Hospital, Kansas City, Kan., surrounded by his family. Daniel is survived by Harriett Pellman, wife for 54 years, son Todd Pellman and daughter Shanda Cooper. Brother George Pellman. Two grandchildren.

Daniel was born in Leavenworth on September 19, 1936 to Frederick and Clara (Parr) Pellman. He graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1954. He served with the Kansas National Guard for nine years, attaining the rank of sergeant. From the 1970s to 1990s he was the owner of Best Way Carpet Cleaning. In 1994 he went to work at Discount Carpets for 27 years.

Visitation will be at Belden-Larkin Funeral Home 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, with rosary from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. Glenn Snow, O.Carm, officiating at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to “Meals on Wheels”.
