Christmas tree farm features variety for holiday season

Wilderson’s Christmas Tree Farm, located at 14820 Parallel Road in Basehor, kicked off the holiday season when it opened its fields the day after Thanksgiving to customers who were eager to get an early start on the Christmas season. Consisting of more than 10 acres, the farm began as a way for Dave Wilderson to finance his college education and the business now has resulted in a three-generation, family-run business.As one of the few Christmas tree farms in the area that allow families to go out into fields and cut a fresh tree to become the centerpiece of the holidays, Wilderson’s draws customers from throughout the metropolitan area and beyond.
