Idon’t want to jinx anything, but I have been lucky enough in my life where I haven’t been affected by death too much. As far as relatives are concerned, my great-grandparents died when I was a teenager, but I recognized the amazing life they lived and, while their deaths were certainly sad, it wasn’t suddenly tragic.
Lions win home meet
More local swimmers are going to state. Lansing’s 200-yard medley relay team of CJ Yedlinsky, Zach Mendez, Antonio DePaolis and Jakeb Kobs started Tuesday’s home meet by swimming a state qualifying time of 1 minute, 51.16 seconds.
