Children visit with Santa at Basehor nursery
T here’s been another Santa sighting in Basehor, this time at Oak Creek Nursery. For the past seven years, Santa has stopped by the nursery to visit with children and hear their wish lists.

Man shot in chest
Leavenworth police are investigating a weekend shooting that resulted in a man being wounded in the chest, a police spokesman said. The incident was reported at about 2 a.m.
