Driver crashes after swerving from deer
A woman was taken to the hospital after swerving to miss a deer and crashing her vehicle south of Tonganoxie, according to an official with the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office. The crash was reported at 8:43 p.m.

People who missed the recent Box Gallery exhibit in Kansas City, Missouri, of the enlargements from the Everhard/Phillips glass plate negative collection can still view the images.
