Local soccer players voted All-UKC

Boys soccer coaches from the United Kansas Conference selected all-conference teams this week and the squads were full of athletes from Leavenworth County. Basehor-Linwood seniors Cole Kramer (defender), Tim Sedlock (forward) and Tanner Graf (midfielder) were voted First Team all-conference.

Administration has led us down wrong path

To the editor: Reading the Leavenworth Times editorial page Saturday, Nov. 5, was a little surprising. Over the years I’ve watched this paper be generally fair in presenting opinions and support to “both sides” of politics, but Saturday was an all-left day. Maybe there just weren’t any conservative letters to print? Let’s hope that was the case. Reading the many left-sided letters in the run-up to this election there’s certainly a lot to take on.
