Kansas authorities investigating after man shot by police The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is probing the police shooting of a Junction City man over the weekend. The shooting happened late Saturday afternoon when officers were called to a Junction City home by a woman who reported that a man was outside her house waving a gun and threatening her and another woman, the agency said in a news release.

Preliminary assessment of House races in Kansas after redistricting

Now that the Kansas Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of the restricting of the state’s four U.S. House districts, it is appropriate to do a preliminary assessment of the political impact of this redistricting.
