Workers grapple with new stresses as they return to office

Last summer, Julio Carmona started the process of weaning himself off a fully remote work schedule by showing up to the office once a week. The new hybrid schedule at his job at a state agency in Stratford, Connecticut, still enabled him to spend time cooking dinner for his family and taking his teenage daughter to basketball.

Marcella Lyn (Fevurly) Bray

Marcella Lyn (Fevurly) Bray, 61, born July 13, 1960, chose to end her journey on this earth earlier this month. Marcy, as she was known to everyone, was born in Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of the late Alfred Kenneth Powell and the late Meredith Ann Reynolds. She was later adopted by the late James Robert Fevurly, joining her sisters in becoming members of this now large, combined, loving family. Marcy is survived by her sons, Edward Malachi Bray, Aurora, CO, and Peter Reynolds Bray, Chicago, IL; her brothers Keith Fevurly (Peggy), Highlands Ranch, CO; Chris Fevurly (Jane), Lawrence, KS; and her sisters Deb Winterscheidt (Dan), Johnstown, PA; Carol Cleek, Lawrence, KS; Anna Oliver (Craig), Colorado Springs, CO; and Karen Mitchell (Mark), Lenexa, KS. Marcy was a loving aunt to her fourteen nieces and nephews, two great-nieces and her great-nephew, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Patricia “Patty” Robinson

Patricia “Patty” Robinson, 80, of Lansing, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022 after declining health the past few months. Patty & her beloved twin sister, Sally, were born on December 6, 1941, the day before the Pearl Harbor attack, in Leavenworth, KS, the daughter of Norman and Velva (Allen) King.

Virginia Mangler

Virginia Mangler passed away May 8, 2022, at the age of 62.She enjoyed employment as an RN until her illness which led to her early retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Helen Mangler and siblings Sharon Mangler, Sandra Austin and Harold (Tony) Mangler. She is survived by brothers Joseph Mangler and Dr. Victor Mangler, sisters Mary Mangler and Janet Otting. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is greatly missed and loved. Private family service is scheduled at a later date.
