Basehor business hosts annual Easter event

After a successful event in its first year of operation, the Basehor Farmer & Craft Market hosted its second annual Easter event at its location in downtown Basehor last weekend. The family event featured baby bunnies and kittens, goats, an Easter egg hunt, a food truck and a special visit by the Easter Bunny.

Manhattan to be site of $650 million plant bringing 500 jobs

A biomanufacturing company plans to build a $650 million plant in Manhattan that will bring hundreds of high-paying jobs to the region, officials announced Monday. The San Antonio-based company is planning to create 500 jobs at the plant in the next seven years, according to a news release.
