A bat now lives rent free in my mind and possibly my apartment complex
I am no stranger to unwanted guests in my various homes. One time a mouse raised her family in my parents’ basement, until our cats mustered the will to drive them out. In D.C., we were constantly attempting to evict rats, roaches, spiders and unfortunately, even some maggots in our outdoor trash can.
