Calif. water level drops again after dry January

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The water contained in California’s mountain snow is now lower than the historical average after a January without significant rain or snow – a dramatic reversal from December that demonstrates the state’s challenges in managing its water supply.

Mug passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 30, 2022. Mug was born at home in Easton, Kansas November 4, 1938 to Georgia (Phillips) Richter and Francis Anthony Richter. Mug was one of seven children; Francis “Fritz” Richter (deceased); Jerry (Mary) Richter, Leavenworth; Vicky Salyers, Leavenworth; Carol (William) Cole, Leavenworth; Butch (Barbara) Richter, Easton; and Connie (Rick) Cook, Easton.

If I knew then what I do now, I would have recommended masks

I don’t think anyone has been more embroiled in the back and forth on masking than I have. Back in February of 2020, I famously (or infamously) tweeted to America to “STOP BUYING MASKS! They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!”
