ST. PAUL, Minn. – A paramedic who treated George Floyd on the day he was killed testified Wednesday at the federal trial of three former Minneapolis police officers that he wasn’t told Floyd wasn’t breathing and had no pulse when officers upgraded the urgency of an ambulance call.

Wife’s focus on gifts ruins visit with couple’s daughter

Dear Annie: Our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live in another part of the country, so we are only able to see them a few times a year. On our most recent visit, my wife asked my daughter where she kept some of the very nice, expensive wedding gifts that had been given to them by friends of ours. My daughter wasn’t sure, pointing out that they have a large house and that the wedding gifts, though nice, are not something they use and that with five young children, she wasn’t sure where they were.

This time around, it is a purported “secret meeting” being held by the USD 453 Board of Education to “impose new mandates on our kids, parents and teachers!" Taking cues from the Trump playbook, Proctor is telling his supporters things that are patently false or misleading in hopes that he can get them to show up in great numbers at the meeting and disrupt the proceedings of duly elected officials.

Raena Cheyenne Mathis, age 19, passed away on January 13, 2022. Raena was a lifelong resident of Leavenworth, KS, attending Leavenworth Public Schools. Raena was born on January 29, 2002, on Kansas Day at Cushing Memorial Hospital in Leavenworth. Her mother was Kristina Robinson, who passed away in January of 2018. Her father is Mark W. Mathis. She is survived by her father, Mark and step-mother, Brittany Sole-Campbell and her siblings: Devin Carpenter, Seth Mathis, Sabastian and Sydney Campbell. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Wanda Quinones of Junction City, Kansas and her paternal grandparents, Barbara and Jim Mathis of Leavenworth, KS. Great-grandparents, Roger and Carol Robinson, preceded her in death.
