While having a golf handicap that fluctuates between 30 and 40 may not sound impressive, Jack Hansen has a lot to be proud of. With 99.9% of his eyesight gone, he has finished second in national golf tournaments three times. His accomplishments also include being selected as a member of the U.S. team in the Nation’s Cup, a Ryder Cup-style competition for blind golfers. The tournament pits blind golfers from the United States and Canada against each other and is played in Nova Scotia. The tournaments are sponsored by American Blind Golf, which just celebrated its 10th year of existence.
