Betty Ann East, 85, of Leavenworth, KS passed away peacefully on February 17,2022. A devoted Mother, Grandmother, and friend to many she was loved by all. Betty was predeceased by her Husband Thomas B. East, her parents Waldo and Florence Briggs, sister Florence (Bridget) Poe, daughter Deborah Ruby-Hack and two granddaughters Elizabeth and Amanda. Two sons in law also preceded her. She is survived by Brother, Leon (Carolyn) Briggs and daughters Nancy Aldridge and Peggy (Elmer) Colon, 8 Grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Betty retired from Cushing Memorial Hospital after more than 33 years of service. In retirement she enjoyed thrift store shopping, crocheting, and her family.

Funeral service will be February 24, 2022 beginning at 11 AM in the Davis Funeral Chapel 531 Shawnee St. Leavenworth, KS. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Condolences may be left online at www.davisfuneralchapelinc.com.
