Visitors to world’s tallest tree could face $5K fine, jail
Tree enthusiasts who make the trek to the world’s tallest tree deep in a Northern California forest will face a fine and possible jail time after park officials declared the remote area off-limits because of damage done by trampling visitors to the tree and surrounding forest, a park official said Monday.
Siblings estranged from mom want no contact
Dear Amy: My brother and I are both in our late 30s. After years of strife and our mother's refusal to respect any of our stated boundaries, in early 2020 (after several pointless therapy sessions with her), we made the decision to go "no contact."
