VETERANS’ RECOGNITION: JULIUS GABRYK
Julius Edward Gabryk was born in Leavenworth on April 25, 1908, the son of Joseph Adam and Mary Agnes Zawacki Gabryk.He was an Army veteran of World War II.Gabryk married Ann Marie Wiseman in 1946. They had one daughter, Julia, two stepdaughters, Sarah and Lois, and four stepsons, William, Charles, George and Thomas.He worked at the Great Western Stove Company from 1927-1941 and Missouri Valley Steel from 1941-1943.
