Local woman featured in Pin-Ups For Vets calendar

Army veteran Danielle Springall fused her love for nostalgia with her love for and dedication to the military when she became involved as an ambassador with Pin-Ups For Vets, a nonprofit organization that serves veterans. Pin-Ups For Vets was the brainchild of Gina Elise, who founded the nonprofit in 2006 for three purposes: to raise funds for hospitalized veterans; to deliver as gifts for ill and injured veterans, and to boost morale of deployed troops.
